LONDON (MNI) – UK Prime Minister David Cameron said today that the
UK should play a “constructive” role in helping the euro zone climb out
of its current crisis, noting that 40% of UK exports go to the zone.

Cameron said that EMU leaders needed to work together and fast to
tackle the crisis and “get ahead” of the crisis, not “respond to the
last crisis”.

The UK leader also called for “proper” stress tests and a
recapitalisaton of its weak banks, during his regular weekly question
period in the House of Commons.
