John McEntee was escorted out of White House
The WSJ reports that Trump's personal assistant John McEntee was fired yesterday for an 'unspecified security issue' and was escorted out of the White House without his belongings.
McEntee joined Trump in the earliest days of his campaign and has been a constant aide for Trump for three years.
The WSJ says "he indicated to colleagues that it was an issue in his background."
Update: McEntee was fired because he is currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes, a source familiar with his firing tells CNN. This source says the charges are not Trump related.
