Retail sales balance is seen improving towards the end of the year and may be an indication of more positive things to come going into next year. It's still too early to say that things are going to improve by leaps and bounds after the election result but we'll see.
The readings here are an indicator of short-term trends in the retail and wholesale sector of the UK economy.
