S&P500 emini contracts, the ES, have fallen 0.5% on the Globex open
Here we go again ….
Its all good, we'll just recast the 'Santa rally' as a 'death spiral plunge down a chimney'.
Anyway … thin liquidity is not just confined to forex markets at this time of the week, moves can be exacerbated in other markets (eg, stock index futures) in these early hors also. ES down circa 18 points. Fits with the heaviness we have been seeing last week. Dead cat and all that.
