Reports that Russia will recognise crypto assets as currencies

  • And that the government of Russia and its central bank have reached agreement on crypto regulation

Obviously this is positive news for crypto. It is not unexpected though, the approval in Russia for crypto had been gaining ground. This from late January:

  • More on Russia inching towards crypto regulation (instead of banning)
