US DATA: AAA survey of Labor Day travel plans says 33m people will
travel 50 miles or more over the holiday, +2.9% YOY and the highest
travel for Labor Day since 2007. This comes despite rising gas prices
and a mmodest economy. AAA also says the avg family plans to spend $749,
vs $702 last yr.
