Hawkish comments from Lacker:

  • There was "a pretty substantial amount" of support for June hike at last FOMC meeting
  • Does not see a problem of hiking rates and then moving back to zero if needed
  • If it were up to him, Fed would sell assets now

The minutes said 'several' members wanted hike.

You can't take Lacker seriously. What he means is that he supports it a lot and he's very vocal. At best there will be 2-3 votes for a June hike.
