Bloomberg have popped a story up on the web now, but it contains no references at all to the comments on rates/policy.
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell ... appearance Thursday night at a Democratic retreat in Leesburg, Virginia
- asserted the central bank's independence
- the Fed doesn't consider political pressure in any way
OK …. but yeah, his apparent comments on onetary policy (rates are right) have not made it in.
