"We are holding out hope the Fed will hike at this month's meeting, but recognize the odds are painfully
low and this committee has shown an unnatural sensitivity to global aesthetics."
Goldman says :
"We adopted a December liftoff forecast following the June FOMC
meeting, largely because this seemed to be Chair Yellen's own baseline. Recent events have further strengthened our conviction that next week is too early for a rate hike."
Jefferies:
"We do not expect the Fed to implement Liftoff this week,
but do expect the Dot Plot projections to include both a 2015 rate hike and
lower projections for 2016, 2017 and beyond. We also expect Janet Yellen to
announce that the she will hold a press conference after every FOMC meeting
until the Fed finally implements Liftoff."
