Stick this in the diary: December 3-Yellen fronts Congress pre-FOMC

A note for the diary, Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen will appear before the US Congress' Joint Economic Committee on the morning of December 3.

• She will likely address topics such as the inflation outlook, the labor market, monetary policy and whatever comes along that happens to be the fear du jour
• The December FOMC meeting is on the 15th at 16th

Of course, on Tuesday and Wednesday coming (October 27 and 28) the FOMC meets also. If you're sick of hearing about the Federal Reserve, next week might be a good time for a holiday.
