Reserve Bank of New Zealand Deputy Governor/General Manager Financial Stability Geoff Bascand is giving a speech at 0400GMT.

Unrelated to the policy announcement:

  • NZD traders - RBNZ announce no change to cash rate - on hold
  • Minutes of the RBNZ meeting reiterate that a lower OCR may be needed over time

But, hey, he may well say something pertinent in Q&A.
