Comments from Fischer due at 2 pm ET (1800 GMT).
Fed Vice Chair Stanley Fischer is in Portugal at an ECB forum today. There will be a Q&A after the speech.
Fischer has been at the Fed for nearly a year but hasn't made waves yet. The most you can say is that his comments about dollar strength potentially hurting the economy made waves around the turn of the year.
When he arrived, he was touted as a hawk but that hasn't shone through. In other appearances in forum/Q&A formats he's been candid so there is always the chance of an off-the-cuff comment roiling markets.
