BOJ announces unscheduled bond buying operation

Bank of Japan defending its YCC after yields rocketed earlier today, the 10yr above its permitted top:

  • Japanese Government Bond yields rising. Yield on 10 year JGB is above BOJ ceiling of 0.5%
