Richmond Fed Pres.Barkin is speaking (not a voting member in 2023) and says:
- Makes sense to steer more deliberately as Fed works to bring inflation down
- Last three months inflation prints have been a step in the right direction, but caution that while average has dropped the median state high
- Despite recession scares earlier in the year, data on spending, investment and employment have pushed the risk out
