Hawkish FOMC - USD move up in Asia, US equity index futures heavy

  • The initial market reactions to theFederal Open Market Committee are continuing in Asia trade time

I posted earlier on:

US stock index futures have lost ground during Globex trade

The immediate background is a hawkish Fed:

And, yeh, the USD is flexing still. EUR/USD is lower, as is cable. USD/CAD is higher and USD/CHF is mainitning its overnight high. Curiously USD/JPY has dribbled lower from it early high.

AUD and NZD are getting hit heavily, here's the AUD:
