KC Fed name Jeffrey Schmid as the new President
The Kansas City Fed has named Jeffrey Schmid as its new president and CEO. Schmid takes over from Esther George who left in February.
He has led 3 banks over a 32-year period. He leads the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking Foundation at SMU Cox School of Business.
Schmid will take over on August 21.
