NZD/USD dribbling lower again after the RBNZ's own preferred inflation drops

A significant drop for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's own inflation measure:

  • RBNZ's own inflation measure for Q3 2023 is +5.2% y/y (vs. prior +5.7%)

NZD/USD fell after the official data earlier:

  • New Zealand Q3 CPI +1.8% q/q (+2% expected)

And it's a tic or two lower after the RBNZ model data,although the price update is threatening to make a liar out of me:
