2 tailwinds for Japanese stocks coming right up

The Bank of Japan were in buying on Monday, as suspected:

  • BoJ purchases JPY 70.1bln of stock ETFs today

And, secondly, US stocks had a nice strong session!:

  • Major indices close higher on the day and rally into the close

Futures trade is indicating the Nikkei will be up strongly on the open.

ADDEd ... I pressed 'publish' just a moment too late - NIkkei225 and TOPIX both open higher; circa +1.8% for both.
