EU official on Reuters as the details of the new proposals emerge
- Greece sent revised version of reform proposals this morning
- Greece offers to gradually raise retirement age to 67 and streamline various exemptions
- Is offering to have 23% main VAT rate, 13% for energy and basic foods, 6% fore medicine and books
- Creditors unlikely to formulate a common position on Monday and a few more days will be needed for clarifications (Noooooooooooo!)
Hollande is also on the wires saying that we must do all we can to get as far as possible this evening
- Deal must be all inclusive and long lasting
- Deal must allow Greece to remain a member of the Eurozone
- France and Germany doing everything possible to keep Greece in Eurozone
