Non-stop Greek headlines will also continue

It's a new month, quarter and the beginning of the second half of the year. It starts with a bang with ADP employment due out at 8:15 am ET (1215 GMT). That's followed by ISM manufacturing at 10 am ET (1400 GMT).

Good data could light a fire under the US dollar but it will be weighed against all the confusion around Greece. Merkel is putting the screws to Greece on the referendum as Tsipras seemingly hits the panic button. ADP estimates range for 190K to 274K.

If you see any odd moves in the Canadian dollar that might be due to thinner liquidity for the Canada Day holiday but given all the action in markets, you'd expect Toronto desks to be well staffed. Lately, the Canadian dollar has had a habit of making outsized moves on local holidays and then retracing them over the next few days.

I'll definitely be featuring some Canadian content today.
