Big increase from last month 51.1
The Australian AiG performance of Manufacturing Index for the month of November came in a 57.3 versus 51.1 last month (6.2 point increase).
- In September and October the index fell sharply from a August high of 59.8 to 54.2 and then 51.1.
- The rebound this month moves the index back toward the higher levels
- production 56.6, +8.2 points
- new orders 60.4, +5.3 points
- employment 54.9, +1.7 points
- stocks 54.4, +11.8 points
- deliveries 57.3, +7.1 points
- input prices 76.4, +10.1 points
- average selling price 52.6, +3.9 points
- average wages 64.1, +5.1 points
- capacity utilization 74.9, +0.3 points
All the major components showed impressive rebound gains.
