Of course my technical difficulties arose just as the announcement of Osama Bin Laden’s demise hit the airwaves. Risk-on, risk-off, USD down, USD up; bit of everything in fact.
This might give the USD a short-term lift in sentiment but I’d lay more weight on the Silver fall this morning which could be much more positive for the USD in the medium term.
