AUSTRALIA: Jobs advertised in major Australian newspapers and on the
Internet rose a seasonally adjusted 19.6% in February, more than
reversing their 8.1% fall in January, data compiler ANZ Bank said. It
said total jobs advertised were 27.5% higher in February than they were
at their seasonal trough in July 2009 but were 42.6% below the all-time
peak reached in April 2008.
