Flash data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, subject to revision of course

  • +12% y/y
  • exit lockdown bounce, pent up demand - good results (but ... read on)
  • retail turnover up in all states and territories except for Victoria

Retail turnover in Victoria will crater further in August.
