Australian business conditions and confidence data due today - preview

Results from the National Australia Bank August Business Survey will be released Tuesday 11 September 2018 at 0130GMT

NAB discuss the survey, but only have this to say:

we offer no prospective view on the NAB Business Survey for August, out Tuesday.

We only remind our readers that Business Conditions have eased back in recent months, though were at a well above average reading, at +12 in July compared to its +6 long term average.

Business Confidence was +7, a point above its long term average.

That's followed by the monthly Westpac-MI Consumer Sentiment reading polled over the past week, Sentiment and Business Confidence both surveyed in the aftermath of the change in leadership in the Government.
