Australian industry Group Performance of Construction Index
This is the fifth and final monthly PMI from Australia. Manufacturing and services PMIs for November so far have been mixed, but all in expansion. Not this one today though ….
Drops again, down to 44.5 and its third month in a row in contraction
- prior 46.4
The sub indexes are all a bit sad too, all these down on the month deeper into contraction:
- activity lower
- employment lower
- housing activity a shocker, down nearly 9 points on the month
Not quite so sad:
- new orders picked up a few points, still in contraction
- wages up and strongly expanding
- selling prices up, in contraction
- commercial building up, still in contraction
