ATHENS (MNI) – Greece’s central government cash deficit (the net
balance of the state budget including movements in public debt
management accounts) narrowed to E23.396 billion in calendar year 2010
from E32.622 billion in 2009, the Bank of Greece said Tuesday.

During 2010, ordinary budget revenue increased to E52.306 billion
from E48.560 billion the previous year. Ordinary budget expenditures
decreased to E68.671 billion, compared with E74.790 billion in 2009, the
central bank said.
