Canadian markets closed for holiday, US markets thinned
It's Thanksgiving in Canada today and Columbus Day in the United States.
That means Canadian markets are completely closed and US markets are partially shuttered. Most US banks and Federal institutions are closed along with the bond market while US stock markets will operate as usual. S&P 500 futures are flat.
USD/CAD trading will be especially thin and FX trading will tail off after the European close.
