BOE Sees 3.17 Cover At 3-10 Year Auction; Down From 4.47

–BOE Accepts Offers For Nine of 12 Gilts On Offer

LONDON (MNI) – The Bank of England saw cover of 3.17 at Monday’s
3-10 year reverse Gilt auction, down from 4.47 in last Monday’s auction
for the same maturity range.

The central bank accepted offers for nine of the 12 gilts on
offer, with no offers accepted for the 4.0% 2016, the 8.75% 2017 and the
5.0% 2018.

The offers accepted for the remaining gilts were fairly evenly
spread, with no single gilt dominating. The BOE’s offers accepted ranged
from stg16 million for the 4.75% 2020 to stg287 million for the 2.75%
2015 gilt.
