Brazil slashes 2014 growth forecasts but private sector still expects disappointment

Brazil’s government dramatically cut its 2014 growth forecast to 2.5% from 3.8% but that’s still not in-line with the paltry 2.0% growth forecast by the government.

Either way, expect protests at the World Cup; the rabble is agitated.
