Cable’s on the march. It sits presently at 1.6075, up a full cent from a North American close Wednesday around 1,5975.
Read BOE Fisher’s interview in FT earlier (sorry link doesn’t work, infact i can’t get story back up ) Got to admit can’t see at first and second glance him saying that a November QE extension is “still alive.” He is pretty cagey/nebulus/non-commital when it comes to the question of whether more QE to come.
He does however feel more confident QE having scale and speed of impact that the Bank had hoped for when they started.
Next resistance for cable at 1.6095/00.
