Baker Hughes US oil rig count due at the top of the hour
Last week, US oil drilling rigs rose to 703 from 697 in the 16th consecutive week of gains. The latest numbers are due at 1 pm ET.
WTI crude has chopped around today but is currently trading down 20-cents to $47.62 per barrel.
