July housing starts data from the CMHC

  • Prior was 245.7K (revised to 245.5K)
  • -9.6% m/m
  • Detached -1.6% m/m
  • All others -12.0% m/m

Quebec and BC both had sizeable drops but starts remain at healthy levels nationwide.
