• Unfilled orders -1.2% vs +0.5% prior
• Inventories -1.5% vs +0.8% prior
• Sales down in 16 of 21 industries
• Q2 sales +1.7%

The petroleum/coal product industry (-3.8%) along with food (-2.5%) accounted for most of the decline while primary metals provided a boost.
