Over the weekend Canada's foreign ministry confirmed another citizen is being held in China
Didn't give a reason for the detention.
This follows other similar detentions earlier this year as relations between Canada and China worsened. Triggering this is Cananda arresting (and for extradition to the US) Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer for Chinese tech form Huawei.
