Catalonia may seek aid from regional bailout fund

Catalonia, Spain’s second-most populous region, will tap the regional bailout fund, finance chief Andreu Mas-Colell told the BBC.

“Catalonia has no other bank than the gov of Spain. This is life -everybody knows the situation of the markets,” he said.

An official from the region’s economy department said no decision has been taken, according to Bloomberg.
