The South China morning Post is reporting that sources are saying China and US trade teams are set to meet as early as next Tuesday ahead of the Trump/Xi meeting at the G-20 summit. Representatives have not spoken in 6 weeks since the breakdown of talks in early May.
United States trade representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on the US side and Vice-Premier Liu He on the Chinese side are expected to meet in Osaka, three days before the start the G20 leaders' summit.
