• kits can shorten detection time and recognize suspected cases, especially latent infections
• kits can generate test results in 30 minutes

One of the issues being wrestled with is the veracity of reports out of China. Questions are often raised about Chinese economic data, and data on this disease have been questioned also.

Game theory would probably suggest that some official, somewhere in China is saying 'Well, if everyone is going to doubt our reports anyway why not 'adjust' the truth?'
