Positive tones for Chinese equities at the close

  • Shanghai Comp Index +1.97 at 3007.65

The firmer tones led to the Nikkei 225 paring a few of its 4.35% losses to close down -2.68% and driving USDJPY higher to 117.75.

Those gains have been extended into the SCI close to 117.95
