Coming up at the bottom of the hour: Carney and Hammond at Mansion House

The delayed Mansion House event gets underway shortly 20 June

Last week's eagerly awaited Mansion House speech was cancelled in respect of the awful tragedy unfolding at Grenfell Tower and now takes place this morning as a lower-key breakfast event starting around now

Carney on the card at 07.30 GMT but Hammond stepping up anytime now .

We should expect a keynote speech from both with Hammond seizing the opportunity to talk-up "soft/softer" Brexit in defiance of his PM's position, and Carney looking to assuage concerns over inflation outstripping wages.

Markets will be looking for any more clues of a rate hike after last week's narrower 5-3 vote to keep them on hold.
