Coming up on Wednesday this week is the pre-Election Economic and Fiscal Update (PREFU)
- Will confirm NZ has a large budget surplus (cue salivating from Pavlov's politicians)
- The update will tempt the pollies into new policy initiatives, and they might even cost them out
Unlikely to be too much of a currency mover unless there are some big surprises in the PREFU
