Speaks on BBC on Sunday
Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab said on BBC today:
- Salzburg was a bump in the road, we will hold our nerve
- Clear change was made very late by the EU in response to PM May's exit plans in Salzburg
- There is no credible alternatives on the table
- We have come up with a serious set of proposals. We are going to be resolute.
- More technical notices for no deal to come out on Monday
- Next milestone will be October council
- Confident will get a deal, if ambition we've shown is matched
- We need some flex from the EU
- We all want a free trade deal
- A Canada style free trade deal would mean staying locked in EU customs union
- No deal would not be the end of the world
- We will not dictate to in negotiations
- A new election in the fall is not going to happen.
