UK Chancellor Darling, the host for this weekend’s G20 meeting, says the UK is keeping its options open for more stimulus measures for the UK domestic economy.
The Indonesian finance minister says there will be a call for fiscal stimulus in the communique but that it will not have hard diktats but “guidance” on size and methods of stimulus. In other words there will be lots of high-flown rhetoric, a bit of international aid, but not much concrete, just as very title concrete came out of the November meeting.
Should be a barn-burner…
