UK Brexit minister David Davis speaks in parliament - 24 January 2018
- Currently do not have a specific plan, but we may just publish a position paper on the matter
- How far UK diverges from EU regulation will be a matter for future government
- UK will seek equalisation with EU regulation, not harmonisation
- Expects all substance of a future relationship to be agreed with the EU before start of any transition
Nothing more from Davis at the moment. The usual parliamentary grilling again. "We may have a plan but no specific ones just yet". It's the impact assessment debate all over again.
