FRANKFURT (MNI) – European Central Bank President Mario Draghi is
scheduled to speak in German Parliament on October 24, the ECB confirmed
on Thursday.
In an interview with a German daily published on September 14,
Draghi had said, “we need to explain what we do better in Germany, which
our intentions are and what precautions we are taking.”
At the interviewer’s suggestion that Draghi speak to German
Parliament, the ECB chief responded: “It would be an opportunity to
explain what we do in greater detail. If I am invited, I would be very
happy to go there.”
