ECB: E61.118 Bln Covered Bond Purchases Settled Jul 13

FRANKFURT (MNI) – The European Central Bank said Wednesday that a
total of E61.118 billion Eurosystem covered bond purchases had settled
as of July 13.

As of July 12, settled acquisitions had totaled E61.118 billion,
the ECB said Tuesday.

The program is aimed at revitalizing a market segment that has been
exceptionally hard hit by the financial turmoil.
