What's coming up on the economic calendar today

Good day, one and all! How's everyone doing today?

Today is going to be a lighter day on the data front, but do expect more Brexit talks to dominate the headlines. I think we're all getting accustomed to that by now.

Anyway, for starters we're going to have Germany October factory orders due at 0700 GMT. Then, we'll have Switzerland November inflation data out at 0815 GMT.

Then, at 0830 GMT we'll have Germany November construction PMI, and at 0910 GMT we'll have Eurozone November retail PMI. All very minor data points once again.

Though, at 0915 GMT on the agenda there's UK Brexit secretary David Davis addressing parliament - but as I said, expect more Brexit news to fly about whenever, wherever and not just at this time.

Then, at 1030 GMT we'll have ECB member Yves Mersch speaking in Frankfurt at a financial market forum. The subjects on the agenda do touch on monetary policy.

That's about that. But watch out for the calendar tonight, as we'll have US ADP employment numbers as well as the Bank of Canada rate decision!

Hope you all have a pleasant day ahead and good luck with your trading.
