The EU’s foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton is hoping that the upcoming Geneva meeting will be productive in starting a dialogue on Ukraine. Her spokeswoman, Maja Kocijancic says that the the prep work for further Russian sanctions is at an advanced stage. She says that the decision on the summit lies with Herman Van Boring.
