There's no catalyst for the latest wave of Swiss franc selling but the pair has rallied almost 50 pips in the past half-hour.

It's the seventh consecutive day of gains.

You would anticipate from CHF strength given the risk-off sentiment in markets and uncertainty about China but it's just the opposite. Maybe the thinking is that if there is a currency war, the SNB has plenty of experience.
