Not catching the flu from Asian trading just yet

A pretty decent start to proceedings for European stocks. US equity futures are more or less flat and that is helping to provide some relief for European investors despite the fact that Asian equities have once again tracked lower.

The Shanghai Composite and CSI 300 indices both closed the day lower by 0.3% and 0.7% respectively. Meanwhile, the Hang Seng index is now down 0.5% in the final hour of trading.

US 10-year yields remain flat around 2.97% and that is still not translating into any meaningful risk tones in markets just yet. Currencies are a tad risk off with the yen and dollar leading the way, but it can also be attributed to some recovery from earlier losses to start the week.
